A treatment that induces your inner beauty to shine outwards

Microdermabrasion is one of the most popular non-invasive clinical treatment performed today. Almost a million procedures are done every year. The skin is instantly rejuvenated by means of mechanical skin exfoliation without the use of chemicals or lasers. It is modern, effective and can be combined with other treatments to help achieve the desired results. It can treat, face, neck, and whole body to immediately restores smoother looking skin.

During treatment, a special machine applies a slightly diamond tip to the surface of the skin to remove the uppermost layer of skin. Multiple sessions may be required in some cases.

Our epidermis is close to environment and surroundings. However, there is a topmost layer called the stratum corneum, which acts as a sort of shield between skin and surroundings. This is where most skin imperfections are located.

Microdermabrasion is mostly used on skin’s topmost layer. It cleanses skin deeply. Sometimes it is not enough to clean skin with good cleansers or even with good exfoliants or sonic brushes. Over-washing can cause irritation and dehydration.

Microdermabrasion is an effective, non-chemical and non-surgical treatment to deep clean/exfoliate the skin. It is one of the lesser-aggressive skin treatments that can reduce many skin imperfections.

Microdermabrasion is the perfect anti-aging treatment

Microdermabrasion tricks your skin into being younger. Sun exposure, frowning, and stress are the biggest factors that contribute to premature aging skin.

Sometimes, skin care products and facial exercises are not enough to do the job or to help tighten the skin.

The process in microdermabrasion involves scraped and suctioned off the dead cells to bring up a fresh new layer of skin from underneath. In this process of “polishing” the skin, the body will interpret the loss of skin cells as an injury and rush to produce new skin cells and collagen, which strengthens/firm the skin, and gives a naturally firmer and smoother appearance with long-lasting effects.

Microdermabrasion for the entire body

Although it is mostly used for the face, microdermabrasion can be used on various parts of the body such as:

● Neck
● Chest
● Abdomen
● Arms
● Hands
● Hips
● Legs
● Hand & Feet

This is also an excellent treatment to treat back acne.

Use microdermabrasion to improve stretch marks

Stretch marks are also made less visible with microdermabrasion. Commonly found on your thighs, breasts, arms, and buttocks, they form deeper into the dermis, unlike most skin imperfections that form on the epidermis.

Microdermabrasion does not reach that deep into the skin but after 10 – 12 treatments (depending on how severe your stretch marks are) the skin surrounding the stretch marks can help fade the effect.

Microdermabrasion whitens your underarms

Dermabrasion increases your confidence by making underarms smooth and bright. Now you can comfortably lift your arms.

It is also very helpful to firmer the skin and reduces discoloration around the neck and thighs which is often difficult to get rid of. The darker skin around these parts of the body can be due to heredities, shaving, deodorant use, or too-tight clothing that cause roughness on the skin.

Home remedies or store-bought creams do not always work for everyone, instead, sometimes they may worsen the discoloration. Microdermabrasion is a gentle way to solve this problem for the most sensitive parts of your body.

Microdermabrasion shrinks your pores

There is nothing unhealthy about large pores, but they can be unpleasant.

We are born with our pore size and in fact cannot shrink them but it is possible to reduce their appearance. Microdermabrasion is, very strong than facial creams and toners. It is truly worth to spend on 6 – 10 sessions of microdermabrasion than buying a whole supermarket’s shelves worth of skincare products.

Since the process removes the top layer of skin (much more than what regular facials or skin cream can do), it causes new, thicker skin to emerge from underneath. It also stimulates collagen production, which decreases as we get older, and makes our skin saggy/ lax.

Not only will our pores be reduced, microdermabrasion will also deep clean them, sucking out hardened dirt and oil that are trapped in the pores. The procedure can also eliminate blackheads by removing the head of the plugs that keep all this dirt trapped inside.
